Debating our stock model: give each installer a fixed on-truck allocation (predictable, but idle stock sits in vans), or run centrally and dispatch parts per job (efficient, but adds a stop for the tech). ERP supports both. Curious what people prefer at ~15 techs and ~40 jobs/day.

Per-truck at that scale. 15 techs × ~20 SKUs each is manageable and eliminates the extra dispatch stop. Central works better past 30 techs where the dispatch coordinator becomes cheaper than the idle stock float.

Hybrid works well too — bulk items (drop cables, splitters) per-truck, high-value items (ONTs, ATAs) central. Techs collect the ONT on the morning route since they're doing a physical dispatch check-in anyway. Cuts van float in half.
